Pediatric Assistive Technology Therapist Specialist in Scarborough, ME

As an Assistive Technology Specialist and Pediatric Registered Nurse, you'll provide dedicated 1:1 support to both a Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten student for the entirety of the school year, offering specialized care and advancing their educational access.
This full-time assignment runs from August 24th, 2026 through June 18th, 2027, and consists of 32.5 hours each week. Your compassionate expertise as an RN will be invaluable as you help students thrive both academically and personally, all within a supportive school environment.
Key Experience/Qualifications:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience with assistive technology or a willingness to train
- Pediatric care knowledge, understanding the unique needs of early learners
- School nursing experience preferred but not mandatory—enthusiastic new graduates are welcome
- Ability to build strong relationships with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide holistic, 1:1 nursing support for PreK and Kindergarten students
- Utilize assistive technology to promote inclusion and engagement in the classroom
- Monitor and address daily health needs, responding promptly to medical situations
- Maintain detailed documentation and collaborate with faculty and families
