Pediatric Assistive Technology Therapist Specialist in Westbrook, ME

Key Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Skills or experience as an Assistive Technology Specialist preferred
- Comfort and enthusiasm for working directly with PreK and Kindergarten-aged children
- Prior experience in a school setting is a plus, though not required
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to adapt care strategies to support students’ developing needs
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 nursing care for a designated student, attending to medical and assistive technology needs throughout the school day
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to implement care plans and assistive technology solutions
- Monitor and assess student health, responding quickly and effectively to any medical situations
- Train and support staff on the safe use of assistive devices as needed
- Maintain thorough, confidential documentation of care provided and student progress
