1:1 Pediatric Long-Term Teacher for the Visually Impaired | Ankeny, Iowa

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Valid state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
- Experience with pediatric or 1:1 instruction preferred
- Excellent communication and adaptability skills
- Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to collaborate with school teams
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans for a visually impaired student
- Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to support accessibility and maximize learning
- Provide direct, 1:1 instruction and support across classroom routines and activities
- Collaborate with other educational professionals and parents to ensure student success
- Track progress, maintain records, and report on student achievements and needs
- Foster a positive, encouraging and inclusive atmosphere
