Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) required from an accredited institution
- Active state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
- Demonstrated experience working with children in educational or specialized settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work closely with families, staff, and external providers
- Commitment to inclusive education and individualized instructional approaches
- Prior experience with 1:1 pediatric support is highly regarded
Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized instructional support to a visually impaired student, adapting curriculum for accessibility and success
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the broader educational team
