In this role, you will:
- Provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments across multiple campuses.
- Develop and implement IEPs for visually impaired students.
- Collaborate with general and special education staff, families, and service providers.
- Assess student progress, document outcomes, and participate in IEP meetings.
- Travel between assigned schools within the local area.
Qualifications:
- Valid California teaching credential for Teachers of the Visually Impaired or eligibility for reciprocity.
- Previous experience with visually impaired students preferred.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- Ability to adapt instruction for a variety of learning environments.
- Willingness to travel locally between school sites.
