Long-Term 1:1 Pediatric Teacher for the Visually Impaired | Concord, New Hampshire

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) required
- Valid state Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
- Experience providing instructional support to visually impaired students, ideally in 1:1 pediatric settings
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with families, support staff, and related service providers
- Adaptable, resourceful, and committed to flexible learning techniques
- Willingness to work on-site and support students in a school-based environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and support to a student with visual impairment, tailoring educational plans to meet unique learning needs
- Implement adaptive technology and materials to facilitate access to curriculum
- Monitor the student’s academic and developmental progress, maintaining clear and regular documentation
- Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and parents to develop and adjust individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning atmosphere
- Participate in school meetings, training, and professional development as required
