Long-Term 1:1 Teacher of Visually Impaired in Manchester, NH

Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) is required
- Must possess a valid state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
- Previous experience working 1:1 with pediatric populations is highly valued
- Ability to adapt instructional materials and approaches for students with visual impairments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with classroom teams, families, and related service providers
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and develop customized educational plans to meet the individual needs of the assigned student
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, ancillary staff, and parents to foster a supportive learning environment
- Assess student progress and adjust strategies to maximize academic growth and independence
- Advocate for necessary accommodations, assistive technology, and accessibility resources
