Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI)
- Experience supporting students who are blind or have low vision within K-12 educational settings
- Demonstrated ability to build individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to a diverse range of student needs
- Strong collaboration skills for partnering with general and special education staff, families, and related service providers
- Familiarity with adaptive technology and accessible instructional materials for visually impaired learners
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities; able to manage an itinerant schedule effectively
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative instructional services to students with visual impairments across multiple campuses
- Assess student needs and develop IEP goals specific to visual impairment accommodations
