Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI)

- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and adapt curriculum for diverse learners
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and staff
- Proficiency in the use of assistive technology and adaptive materials
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to a caseload of students with visual impairments across multiple campuses
- Assess students’ functional vision and learning materials, adapting resources as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student success
- Develop and monitor IEP goals, maintain documentation, and participate in ARD/IEP meetings
- Provide consultation and training to campus staff on strategies and accommodations for visually impaired students
- Maintain a consistent schedule, traveling between assigned campuses and working from the office at the admin annex
