Long-Term 1:1 Pediatric Teacher of the Visually Impaired in Dayton, NV

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) is required
- Must hold state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
- Experience working with pediatric students, preferably in a 1:1 setting
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Willingness to work on-site and adapt to the needs of the student
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized, one-on-one instruction tailored to a visually impaired student’s needs
- Collaborate with faculty, therapists, and families to develop and implement effective learning strategies
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting approaches as needed to achieve educational goals
- Support the development of independence and self-advocacy skills
- Ensure a safe, inclusive classroom environment
- Maintain timely communication with the educational team and parents
