Key Qualifications:

- Ability to develop and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored for students with visual impairments, grades K-12
- Adapt general education curriculum and materials according to students’ needs
- Consult and collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Conduct assessments and assist in designing and updating IEPs
- Support students in the use of braille, large print, tactile graphics, and technology
- Advocate for accessibility resources within the school community
- Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to parents and staff
