Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) or eligibility for appropriate licensure

- Ability to adapt materials, develop accessible curriculum, and implement low-vision technology
- Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments for students with a range of abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs regarding visual impairment
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with school staff and families
- Provide direct instruction to students in both pull-out and push-in settings
- Offer consultation and training to classroom teachers on adaptive techniques and accommodations
- Facilitate access to braille, large print, and assistive technology as needed
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports to support student success
