Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) in Alabama

- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Passion for supporting the academic and personal development of students with visual impairments
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and consultation for students who are visually impaired, following individualized educational plans
- Adapt curriculum materials and design learning environments to support accessibility
- Conduct functional vision assessments and contribute to the development of IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure appropriate accommodations and strategies are implemented
- Participate in team meetings and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
