Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from an accredited institution required
- State certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) required
- Previous experience working 1:1 with children or in pediatric settings highly desirable
- Ability to develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills and an inclusive, adaptable approach

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to a visually impaired student on a 1:1 basis
- Collaborate with school teams, families, and related service providers to implement educational strategies
- Adapt curriculum materials to meet the student’s needs and facilitate accessibility
- Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise on best practices for visually impaired learners
