- Assess visual needs and help modify curriculum materials for accessibility
- Consult with classroom teachers and staff regarding accommodations and assistive technology
- Implement and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Empower students with self-advocacy skills and strategies to succeed across academic and social settings
- Engage in ongoing communication with families and multidisciplinary team members
