Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction to K-12 students with visual impairments, based on their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Adapt curriculum materials and teaching techniques to suit students’ abilities
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive learning environment
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records of goals and achievements
- Provide training and resources to school personnel regarding the needs of visually impaired students
- Travel between assigned schools within the district as needed
