Your involvement will extend to developing and participating in IEPs via the TN Pulse platform. The district is especially interested in candidates familiar with the Federal Quota program and adaptable to using Chromebooks as instructional tools. Assignments may include both full-time (35 hours/week) and potential part-time schedules, depending on availability.
Key Qualifications:
- Certified as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired with an active DOE credential
- Strong knowledge of Braille and assistive technology for visually impaired students
- Experience supporting both general education and multi-disability classrooms
- Familiarity with IEP processes; comfortable using digital platforms for documentation
- Valid fingerprint clearance or ability to complete this requirement promptly
- Bonus: Knowledge of the Federal Quota program for AT resources
Core Responsibilities:
- Serve an itinerant caseload spanning elementary, middle, and high schools
- Tailor instruction and support based on students’ individualized needs
