Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) is essential
• Current state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
• Experience working 1:1 with pediatric students, preferably in a school setting
• Strong communication skills and adaptability in an educational environment
• Commitment to fostering inclusive learning experiences

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support for students with visual impairments
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Adapt curriculum materials and ensure accessibility for each student’s unique needs
• Track and report student progress, adjusting strategies as needed for optimal learning outcomes
• Advocate for students, encouraging independence and confidence in the classroom setting
