Essential Qualifications:
- Active Arizona teaching license with a TVI (Teacher for the Visually Impaired) endorsement
- Previous experience supporting K-12 students with visual impairments preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to travel to assigned campuses as needed during the school day
- Commitment to providing equitable, individualized instruction and support
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments across various school sites
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to modify curriculum and ensure accessibility
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Provide assessment, progress monitoring, and consultative services
- Serve as a key resource for accessibility best practices and adaptive technology
- Act as an advocate for students’ educational needs
