Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Texas Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) educator license is required
- Experience working with students in Grades K–12 preferred

- Experience with IEP development and progress monitoring is an asset
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and consultative services to students with visual impairments across multiple campuses

- Assess student vision needs and participate in eligibility determination, developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide guidance and training on assistive technology and accessible instructional materials
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and services provided
- Stay current with best practices, resources, and educational strategies for students with visual impairments
