1:1 Pediatric 1:1 Teacher for the Visually Impaired - Shelbyville, Kentucky

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) required
- Active state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
- Prior experience working 1:1 with pediatric students is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Willingness to work full-time, on-site, throughout the school year
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized programs for students with visual impairments
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to adapt learning materials
- Provide direct instruction in Braille, assistive technology, and orientation/mobility techniques as needed
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies to meet evolving needs
- Engage with families and educational teams to support student success
