1:1 Pediatric 1:1 Teacher for the Visually Impaired - Shelbyville, Kentucky

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) required
• Active state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
• Prior experience working 1:1 with pediatric students is highly desirable
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Willingness to work full-time, on-site, throughout the school year

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized programs for students with visual impairments
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to adapt learning materials
• Provide direct instruction in Braille, assistive technology, and orientation/mobility techniques as needed
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies to meet evolving needs
