A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available, offering the flexibility to provide services either virtually or onsite. This role supports students in preschool through eighth grade and collaborates closely with a Teacher for the Visually Impaired to deliver specialized telehealth and school-based interventions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting speech-language evaluations and therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborating with educators and specialists to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Managing a small caseload while ensuring effective communication with families and school personnel
  • Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification; Candidates with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license are not eligible
  • Experience working with students from preschool to eighth grade preferred
  • Ability to provide telehealth services as well as onsite support
  • Availability during typical school hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:10 p.m.
  • Flexibility to adjust hours around the schedule of the Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI)

Additional Details:

  • Part-time position, approximately 15 hours per week with potential scheduling adjustments
  • Small caseload to allow focused and individualized services
  • Open to VOCO candidates
  • Location: Irmo, South Carolina
