Virtual Teacher of Visually Impaired in AK

A contract position is available for a Visually Impaired Teacher specializing in Telehealth services. This role supports K-12 students with visual impairments, delivering instruction and therapeutic interventions remotely.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting telehealth sessions tailored to the unique needs of visually impaired students
• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with families and school staff
• Utilizing assistive technology to enhance learning and accessibility
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies accordingly
• Maintaining accurate documentation and communication with educational teams

Desired qualifications:

• Certification or licensure in teaching students with visual impairments
• Experience delivering telehealth or remote instructional services
