1:1 Pediatric Assistive Technology Specialist Therapist (AT) - Benton City, Washington

Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, with pediatric nursing experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in administering and monitoring assistive technology devices
- Experience supporting children with complex medical conditions in educational or clinical settings
- Skilled in assessing, documenting, and responding to the medical needs of pediatric clients
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with school staff and families
- Ability to provide care throughout the day, including during transport (7:30 AM – 3:30 PM)
- CPR and First Aid certification required
Responsibilities:
- Deliver continuous, individualized nursing care to a student during the school day and during transportation on the special education bus
- Administer medications, treatments, and monitor vital signs per medical orders
- Implement and maintain assistive technology as needed to support student learning and access
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and family members to develop and follow safe, effective care plans
- Respond promptly to changes in the student’s health status and act according to established protocols
- Maintain meticulous health documentation and ensure compliance with district policies and procedures
- Participate in school activities alongside the student, providing support and medical supervision in various settings
