1:1 Pediatric AT Specialist Therapist | West Richland, Washington

What you'll bring:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State
- Previous pediatric nursing experience, ideally in a school or 1:1 setting
- Familiarity with assistive technology and its integration in educational settings
- Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and emergency response skills
- Comfort providing care and supervision during transportation on a special education bus
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to implement medical orders in line with school procedures
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
- Dedication to advocacy, confidentiality, and continuous student support
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized, continuous hands-on clinical care for one student throughout school hours (7:30 AM – 3:30 PM)
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and carry out necessary medical interventions
- Provide direct nursing care during bus transportation, in classrooms, at lunchtime, and all school-related activities
- Ensure health, safety, and emergency preparedness according to medical protocols
- Partner with educational and healthcare teams to adapt care plans and maximize access to learning
- Maintain precise medical documentation and proactively communicate with families and staff regarding the student’s well-being
