- Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to foster an inclusive educational environment and implement necessary accommodations.
- Advise on assistive technology and accessibility strategies, ensuring the student has the tools needed for academic success.
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining regular communication with the school team on vision-related needs and progress.
- Support compliance with IEP services, ensuring all recommended accommodations and modifications are met.
Qualifications:
- Hold valid Georgia PSC certification with a Vision Impairment/TVI endorsement.
- Demonstrated expertise providing instruction to students with visual impairments, particularly at the middle school level.
