- Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)

Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction to students with visual impairments, adapting lessons as needed
- Conduct functional vision, learning media, and assistive technology assessments
- Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
- Prepare adapted materials and resources to support student access to curriculum
- Provide training and support to school staff and families
- Maintain documentation and participate in IEP meetings
