- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to support students, staff, and families
- Ability to design and adapt curriculum using individualized education plans (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with visual impairments in line with Individualized Education Programs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and related service providers to ensure accessibility of curriculum and materials
- Develop and implement strategies for maximizing student independence across educational settings
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and progress
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for staff, students, and families on matters related to visual impairment and accessibility
- Create customized instructional materials and recommend adaptive technologies
