1:1 Pediatric 1:1 Teacher of Visually Impaired in Burnsville, MN

Ideal candidates will bring:
- A bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or higher
- Active state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
- Previous experience working 1:1 with pediatric or school-age learners (preferred)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with staff and families
- Adaptability and resourcefulness to tailor instructional strategies
- Comfort working as a team player within a school setting
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct 1:1 instruction and support tailored to the sensory and academic needs of the student
- Developing, implementing, and tracking Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with classroom teachers and other specialists to foster an inclusive learning environment
- Using adaptive technologies and tools to enhance accessibility and independence
- Monitoring and documenting progress, and keeping open communication with families and staff
- Participating actively in school meetings and contributing to a positive school culture
