Qualifications and Desired Background:
- Active Georgia Educator Certification specifically for Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
- Prior experience in K-12 educational settings supporting students with visual impairments
- Strong organizational skills and comfortable with daily service documentation
- Preference for on-site candidates, as remote/virtual instruction options are not being considered
- Ability to collaborate with staff, families, and other professionals to create and adapt instructional materials
Your involvement will provide crucial support to students who are blind or visually impaired by designing access to curriculum, orientation and mobility instruction, technology recommendations, and individualized strategies.
