Qualifications:
- Experience teaching or supporting visually impaired students in school settings
- Proficiency as a Braillist, including Braille transcription and instruction
- Valid teaching license or certification (as required by state regulations)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive in new environments and work well in multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and support to students with visual impairments
- Provide Braille materials and assistive technology resources
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop student plans
