Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching or supporting visually impaired students in school settings
  • Proficiency as a Braillist, including Braille transcription and instruction
  • Valid teaching license or certification (as required by state regulations)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to thrive in new environments and work well in multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct instruction and support to students with visual impairments
  • Provide Braille materials and assistive technology resources
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop student plans
