Key Qualifications:

Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with visual impairments
- Provide direct instruction in Braille, orientation and mobility, and the use of adaptive technology
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teams, and parents to ensure an inclusive learning environment
- Conduct assessments to track student progress and adapt interventions as needed
- Serve as a resource for staff and families on best practices for supporting visually impaired students
- Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
