Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current certification or endorsement as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI)

- Experience working with school-aged children (Pre-K – 12th grade) in an educational setting
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to develop and implement individualized educational plans for visually impaired students
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative instructional services to students who are visually impaired, ensuring access to the core curriculum and supporting independence
- Teach Braille reading and writing to students who require it, adjusting strategies to match individual learning needs
- Adapt classroom materials and assessments to accessible formats
