What You’ll Bring:
- Certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (VI)
- Experience teaching or supporting visually impaired students, preferably across a range of grade levels
- Ability to implement adapted methods per district standards
- Strong communication skills, especially when collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to visually impaired students in elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Conduct ongoing assessments using formal and informal measures to gauge student progress
- Prepare for, attend, and contribute to ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings
- Collaborate with faculty to support student integration and success
