Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Arizona Secondary Teaching License
- Specialized K-12 Certificate or Endorsement in Visually Impaired Special Education
- Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience working with K-12 students who are visually impaired is highly valued
- Ability to support multiple sites as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction for visually impaired students across a variety of school settings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to design and implement individualized educational plans
- Provide consultative support for accommodations, accessibility, and adaptive technology
- Track student progress and document outcomes in compliance with educational mandates
