- Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Caseload Information
- High School Setting
- One 9th Grade Student
- Provide direct vision services and educational support
- Collaborate with educational staff to ensure appropriate accommodations and accessibility
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments
- Assess educational needs and recommend appropriate accommodations
- Support access to curriculum through assistive technology and adapted materials
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families
- Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Assist with implementation of accessibility tools and strategies
Qualifications
- Active Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) Certification
- Massachusetts licensure or eligibility to work in Massachusetts schools
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of assistive technology and accessible educational materials
- Previous school-based experience preferred
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must successfully complete all district onboarding requirements prior to starting.
- Fingerprinting and background clearance may be required as part of the hiring process.
