Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Washington State Teaching Certificate with a TVI endorsement

- Strong consultative and interpersonal communication skills
- Adaptability and organizational abilities for managing flexible scheduling
- Comfort with collaborating within multidisciplinary educational teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver consultative support to educators and staff, ensuring optimal strategies are in place to meet each student’s visual and educational needs
- Provide direct and indirect services, including 30 minutes per month of consultative support, with three additional 30-minute consultations scheduled flexibly throughout the year
- Assess student needs and collaborate with Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams to develop and implement appropriate adaptations, materials, and instructional supports
- Offer resources, training, and recommendations that promote access and inclusivity in the classroom environment
- Serve as a resource for families and faculty, promoting understanding of best practices and emerging technologies for the visually impaired population
