Responsibilities:
- Deliver consultative services for students with visual impairments, ensuring a supportive, effective learning environment
- Provide 30 minutes of consultation per month, plus an additional 30 minutes three times per year, with flexible scheduling within set timeframes
- Partner with classroom teachers, therapists, and families to share best practices and resources
- Support the team with strategies, modifications, and tools that promote student independence and achievement
- Monitor progress and maintain thorough documentation for all consultative activities
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource to the school community on vision-related needs and best practices
