Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential authorizing Visual Impairments; or
- California teaching credential with authorization for teaching visually handicapped students (EL CLAD)
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Experience working with visually impaired students in an educational setting
- Ability to commit to full onsite work (not open to virtual/hybrid models)
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering engaging, individualized instruction to visually impaired students
- Collaborating with regular education teachers and families for inclusive practices
- Developing and modifying educational materials to ensure accessibility
- Monitoring, documenting, and reporting student progress through the school year
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP processes
