Required Qualifications:
- California Education Specialist Instruction Credential (Visual Impairments), or California credential with authorization for visual handicapped students (EL CLAD)
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Previous experience working with visually impaired students is highly desirable
- Must work onsite—this position is not available for remote or hybrid work
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Adapt curriculum materials and teaching strategies for visual accessibility
- Collaborate with fellow educators, families, and support staff
- Foster an inclusive learning atmosphere
