- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with classroom staff, families, and specialists
- Adaptability, creativity, and a centered commitment to inclusive educational practices
You Will:
- Serve as a resource and direct instructor for 20-23 students with varying levels of vision and educational support needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to promote success and independence
- Adapt curriculum materials and classroom environments for accessibility
- Provide consultation, training, and support to regular education teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain documentation and participate actively in IEP meetings and ongoing progress reviews
- Foster a nurturing and supportive classroom atmosphere that empowers students
