Key Qualifications:

- Experience working with children and adolescents with visual impairments
- Strong classroom management and communication skills

- Ability to adapt curriculum and create accessible learning materials
- Team-oriented approach and dedication to student success
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to visually impaired students
- Provide direct instruction in Braille, low vision techniques, and assistive technology use
- Partner with general education staff to adapt materials and offer strategies for classroom inclusion
- Conduct functional vision assessments and ongoing progress monitoring
- Attend IEP meetings, family conferences, and professional development sessions as needed
- Support a caseload of 20-23 students with varying needs, ensuring each receives appropriate instruction and accommodations
