Teacher of the Visually Impaired in Katy, TX

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct instruction in core academic areas, braille, orientation/mobility, and daily living skills
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to modify curriculum and resources for accessibility
- Conduct ongoing assessments and maintain detailed progress records
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for staff development and parent communication
- Support students’ participation in school activities and overall confidence inside and outside the classroom
