1:1 Pediatric Long-Term Teacher of Visually Impaired in West Hartford, CT

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) is required
- State credential as a Certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired is required
- Experience working with pediatric students, preferably in a 1:1 educational setting
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to individualized instruction and student advocacy
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction and support to a student with visual impairment in alignment with their IEP
- Adapt curriculum and materials to meet the unique learning needs of the student
- Collaborate closely with classroom staff, therapists, and family members
- Provide ongoing progress monitoring and documentation
- Assist in developing social, emotional, and independence skills for the student
