Assistive Technology Specialist in Corona, CA

Key Qualifications:
- Current Assistive Technology Certification required
- Experience as an SLP – CCC, school-based SLP, OT, special education teacher, or similar related role
- Strong knowledge of assistive technology devices and software for K-12 learners
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess student needs and recommend appropriate assistive technology tools and strategies
- Provide direct and consultative services in classrooms, supporting individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Train staff, students, and families on the effective implementation of assistive devices and software
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that inspires student success
