Assistive Technology Specialist in Riverside, CA

Key Qualifications:
- Valid California license in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology
- Required: specific state licensure, formal degree, or industry-recognized credential for Assistive Technology in line with California regulations
- Previous experience serving school-aged populations essential
- Ability to work onsite at multiple school locations
- Prior experience evaluating, implementing, and supporting assistive technology for students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students' needs and recommend appropriate assistive technology devices and software
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to integrate AT into IEPs and daily instruction
- Provide ongoing training and troubleshooting for staff and students
- Maintain documentation, monitor progress, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Travel across various school sites to serve diverse student populations
