Assistive Technology Therapist Specialist in San Francisco, CA

Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating student needs for assistive technology through collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
- Recommending, customizing, and maintaining assistive devices, software, and accessibility tools
- Delivering individualized and group training to students, families, and school staff on effective use of technology
- Advising on best practices for device integration within IEP and 504 Plan frameworks
- Contributing to the development of educational materials and resources
- Staying current on new assistive technology trends and legal guidelines
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Certification or advanced training in assistive technology or related fields
- Experience working with school-aged students, including those with disabilities
- Familiarity with a broad range of adaptive devices, augmentative communication systems, and accessibility software
