Desired Qualifications:

- Proven experience working with visually impaired children within an educational context
- Strong knowledge of Braille, assistive technologies, and adaptive instructional strategies

- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students with visual impairments, tailored to their unique learning styles and goals
- Assess student progress and adjust lessons based on individual needs and IEPs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and other support staff to ensure accessible learning environments
- Provide training and support to faculty on the use of assistive technology and modifications
- Advocate for inclusion and ensure students have full access to curriculum and extracurricular activities
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and data collection as required
