Your expertise will help ensure all students with visual impairments receive individualized education tailored to their unique abilities and needs. The position is onsite with a consistent schedule, running from August 24, 2026, to June 16, 2027, at 32.5 hours per week.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) Certification/License
  • Experience working with students with visual impairments across K-12 settings
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Ability to develop and implement adapted educational materials
  • Collaborative attitude for working alongside multidisciplinary teams

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide direct instruction and support to students with visual impairments throughout the K-12 spectrum
  • Adapt curriculum and create accessible materials to meet students’ individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Coordinate with teachers, families, and service providers to monitor student progress and success
  • Offer consultation and training to staff on best practices for supporting visually impaired students
  • Maintain consistent documentation and participate in IEP meetings
