Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct instruction in Braille, orientation and mobility, and use of assistive devices
- Modify classroom materials for accessibility and inclusion
- Consult with classroom teachers on strategies for visual impairments
- Advocate for students’ needs and facilitate classroom participation
- Maintain clear communication with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Document progress and adjust instruction as needed for best outcomes
